Expression of interest - European Virtual Aviation Academy

Are you the person to help establish the European Virtual Aviation Academy?

 

We are looking to recruit responsible and experienced people to help to develop the European Virtual Aviation Academy. Based on the real world European Aviation Safety Agency training procedures for pilots and air traffic controllers, we are in the process of establishing the team that will determine tomorrow’s training processes. The Academy will apply to become an independent VATSIM Authorized Training Organisation offering VATSIM ratings. Your involvement in this project will ensure your comprehensive understanding of aviation training procedures.

 

Using the Moodle learning management system, you will be responsible for steering the implementation of a major part of the Academy’s training offerings in an exciting, multimedia implementation. Little of the work will require any programming experience, and training in the Moodle and project management systems is provided.

 

We are looking for project staff who can bring virtual piloting, virtual ATC and/or system management experiences to bear to the mutual benefit of such a committed team. Your experiences of working in an inter-disciplinary project team would be a great advantage.
