It has happened to me in some places that I get the X-plane ATIS starting to talk on unicom or even a controller frequency. How can I silence it?

I'm not sure about x-plane but on FSX you need to go to settings-sounds and turn the ATC Volume to nil (zero); I'm [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming it's similar (of course you know what that makes U and ME).

I tried, but it silences the VATSIM ATC too.

It shouldn't - they're completely independent audio systems - make sure you're using the audio settings/mixer inside X-Plane itself, and not adjusting your system volume levels.

This is buggy and sometimes working, sometimes not. Thanks for the replies.
