The reason I ask is in one of the ATIS is listened to has "additional information on FSS and Flight Watch frequency." Ross Carlson Posted March 7, 2017 at 05:36 PM Posted March 7, 2017 at 05:36 PM VATSIM has no FSS in the way you're probably thinking ... there is no frequency you could call to get a weather briefing or file a flight plan, open/close a VFR flight plan, get enroute weather advisories, etc. The controller that made the ATIS you heard was probably just copying what he heard in the real-world ATIS.
