I want to fly realistic because I am training to be a real pilot and I cannot talk to the atc because either they leave when I join or there is none in the U.S.A I am mostly training by talking to atc, but I can't...

Speaking of realistic, is that your real name?

Next, if you want more, scheduled, ATC coverage from those of us that do this as a hobby, amidst school, work, family, sports, volunteer activities, other hobbies, other things, you'll have to pay for that privilege. Although this is a simulation network, we are all volunteers with lives outside VATSIM.

Twenty percent of the USA landm[Mod - Happy Thoughts] is currently controlled with ATC. It's also peak "homework and folks are still at work" time. If you are looking for peak ATC in the USA, look between 7-9pm local time that pertains to where you would like to fly.

Events in USA airspace can be found at

https://forums.vatusa.net/index.php?action=calendar

Worldwide major events at

https://www.vatsim.net/events

Pretty good chance that there will be ATC at the locations and times scheduled in those events.

While events used to be a lot of fun, they for sure can not be compared to being realistic.

They can, and frequently do have similar traffic levels and staffing levels. Sure the pilots may not be of similar quality, but the controllers are usually pretty on par. Maybe you won't have a satellite sector on, but that's not the make or break factor of an event for me. No need to go hating on events because you don't enjoy them personally.

How many times do you have to post that or links to it?
