Trying to get registered on the Swift website yet I cannot seem to find the page to do so.

This page has a link to register but when you follow the link, there is no place to register. I don't get it...

https://dev.swift-project.org/home/menu/view/70/

https://dev.swift-project.org/auth/start/

Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

You probably cannot register or sign in because you aren't in the development team, which that login seems to be for, hence the subdomain dev.swift-project.org

Testing is well underway, we have pilots using FSX, P3D and X-Plane 11. So far looking good. As usual, no release date is available

PS: I am not a developer, just a member of the test team.

I was hoping that Swift would support FS2004, but I notice there is no mention of an FS2004 tester. I was under the impression, apparently mistakenly so, that getting it to work with FS2004 was part of the reason development has taken so long.

If so, I can only [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume FS2004 has been tossed aside for this as well...damn legacy 32-bit simulators anyway...oh wait, now FSX is "legacy" as well,,,

@Daniel: what is "ground clamping"? If you mean that all other aircraft are shown at the same level on ground, yes, that works quite nicely!

@Randy: yes, for the time being development of a plugin for FS2004 has been halted in order to speed up the process. However, it will be possible for anyone to create an interface that will connect FS2004 and swift, due to its modular layout.

excatly that!

It's horrible when you're at an airport.

and several aircraft are floating or buried in the ground.

For p3d vpilot it works fine for this, however, the xsq for xplane does not work well for this.

You mean the Iberia CRJ? I probably took the screenshot at the moment when this pilot logged in and swift takes a second to reposition aircraft from their reported altitude to the altitude of the scenery of the swift-user.

Daniel, if they don't say any date, there's 2 options:

1) They don't know

2) They can't say it

And no matter how much you insist, they just can't say a date. If you want to pressure someone, they/we are not the right people unfortunately.

Cheers,

Me.

We really don't know, I am sorry. I know that everyone, including us, is very excited to get this piece of software released YESTERDAY, but so far we are not at this point. I am currently using swift with Euroscope to have a Tower View at EDDF/Frankfurt during our Overload event.
