This evening, we have enabled our website (ctp.vatsim.net) to accept applications for our next installment of Cross the Pond, Westbound. We are now inviting applications from candidate airfields from Europe (departures) and North America (arrivals). Following shortlisting, these airfields will be presented for public voting to determine the routes for the upcoming event. We especially invite airfields to apply who have not partaken in the event during the last three years, as we are hoping to diversify our offerings to pilots during this iteration. Please note that airfield applications must be made by an approved member of divisional, ARTCC or vACC staff. Applications from the general public are not accepted, as there is a considerable committment to partaking in this event. Events staff have received further detail by email. The closing date for applications is 8th March 2018 at 2359z. This event will be held in April 2018, with more details coming soon.
