The training director must hold a minimum rating of a C1. They must have a presence on the network and [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist with ATC training. Summary of responsibilities as follows: Ensure Sector files and the Airport and Local Procedures SOP’s are kept up to date (current AIRAC and functionality) Appoints and dismisses all examiners, instructors, and mentors. Ensure instructors are available for regular training sessions for students Must appoint and ensure the Senior ATC Instructor’s carry out their job. Ensure that there is a continuous flow of students in training. Must be active on the VATSAF Discord Server.
