Hello I've been looking in the controller guide and I see the target symbol changes to a dot within reduced separation airspace and on my vERAM, it doesn't. Does anyone know how to make it a dot within reduced separation airspace?

You have to ensure that your facility file has 3nm ranges specified for the radar sites from which reduced separation areas are available.

Also, 3nm separation is only available AOB FL230, so if you’re working aircraft in the high stratum above that, you won’t ever get reduced separation position symbols.
