I'm flying to KOAK, Oakland Intl. It's in the range of KSFOs Approach. Should I contact him for my approach? I'm sorry I'm a newbie to vatsim. Thanks in advance!

TRACON stands for Terminal Radar Approach CONtrol. You'll find almost every TRACON, or approach control facility has secondary airports it serves and that fall under the control of the single approach control facility.

Hey Anthony,

check out one of those fantastic "viewing programs" that show you who's online where and what they are responsible for. They may not be 100% accurate, but they are quite good. If you click on one of those controllers icons/entries in the lists, you'll get the information that they provide, e.g. "handling KSFO KOAK"... you get the idea, right?

Start with the latest development, Accomeap: http://www.accomeap-project.com/

Other great programs are:

- Qutescoop: https://sourceforge.net/projects/qutescoop/

- VatSpy: http://www1.metacraft.com/VATSpy/
