Have you checked your Windows volume settings, and/or any volume setting on your speakers?

Is your headset plugged into the motherboard using 3.5mm audio jacks, or is it USB?

If you open the volume setting in the task bar, and click with your mouse to change the volume, Windows usually plays a sound to help you adjust the volume. Do you hear that sound?

Have you tried using Wave instead of DirectSound in the audio device dropdown in vPilot?

I have and it changes nothing.

I can hear the "bzz" when someone transmits text.

Is there a port being blocked? Can you try disabling your Windows Defender (or other antivirus/protection), restarting vPilot, and seeing if that helps?

Any chance you have another program running that could be competing for the port, such as VRC? Also, Windows Defender/AV question from my previous post?

VRC is not installed on the system. Defender is disabled. and firewall is disabled.

Add me to the stumped list. Sorry. Hope the reinstall works for you. Suggest a computer restart first (in case you had not tried that).

Issue has been resolved by installing new audio drivers from ASUS.
