[VACANCY] ATC Training Director (VATME4)

The application process for the position of ATC Training Director (VATME4) has started.

 

VATSIM Middle East is looking to start opening its ATC Department to fulfil the division's needs.

 

REPORTS TO: VATSIM Middle East - Divisional Director [VATME1]

 

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Management of VATSIM Middle East ATC Training platform, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing & developing of training resources within the division.
  • Recommending members to the Divisional Director for the Senior Instructor Ratings.
  • Ensuring training is expeditious and of a good standard throughout the division.
  • Ensuring compliance with VATSIM policies, including but not limited to VATME Division Policy, Executive Committee Policies,
  • VATSIM Code of Conduct and the VATSIM Code of Regulations.
  • Inducting new members into the ATC Training process in the Division and ensuring they feel welcome and well informed about our systems.
  • Able to handle training related duties in addition to Controller Practical Examinations if necessary.
  • Producing regular reports on the status of training within the division.
  • Maintaining an active online presence within the division.
  • Other duties [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned by the Divisional Director.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The successful applicant will meet the following minimum standards:

  • Hold a C1 rating as a minimum.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Membership of VATME or willing to become a member of VATME.
  • Familiarity with Middle East operations.
  • Must be in good standing within the VATSIM Network.
  • Demonstrated past experience in staff roles or other managerial positions.
  • A commitment to maintain a strong online presence throughout their appointment, In addition to a minimum of 6 hours per
  • week in this role.
  • Fluent in English.
