When either VRC 1.2.6 or 1.2.4 is installed, no ini file is provided, and therefore I cannot use VRC.

Check in "My Docomeents\VRC" ... that's where you'll find it.

In order to fix it, what should I do? VRC fails to find the file in the docomeents folder. I cannot find any file with that name in the folder or any of its subfolders.

None, the VRC folder only exists as the one under Program Files (x86)

I think I keep having download errors where My Docomeents/VRC doesn't exist.

Something is preventing the installer from creating the VRC folder under My Docomeents then. There are several files kept in that folder ... the INI is just one of them.

Are you running VRC as the same user that you installed it as?
