Set active APT by owned sectors

We've set up our sector file in the UK such that when observing, users may set a specific callsign in the .ese to enable them to use Alternative Sector Ownership:

For all our sectors, we have set up various ownerships that can then be selected according to where they wish to observe:

Previously, with 'Set active APT by owned sectors' set to on, EuroScope would - as it would if you were an active controller - then select the airports for which the ALTOWNER conditions were met. This seems to have stopped being the case now, but only in a recent revision? Was this changed at some point?

I do not think so. At least it was not intentional.

The youngest code around ALTOWNER is back to 2012, according to my source control.

Has anything changed with regard to being able to automatically set active airports for observers? So when an observer uses alternate sector ownership, we'd quite like it to select active airports in the same way that it does for active controllers.
