Hello, the setup I have is P3Dv4, but also a "virtual" P3Dv3 installation to trick some of the older installers into installing sceneries into v4, however..that seems to cause vPilot to detect v3 as a sim, but because there's nothing there, clicking Apply causes yet another error of a missing default model. Is there a way to force vPilot to ignore v3?

You would have to remove the registry entry that stores the install location, or remove/rename the installation folder, or remove/rename the prepar3d.cfg file.

You could also just copy the default model from v4 to v3 so that vPilot finds it.

Had the same problem (corrupted FSX installation here).

Renaming FSX.cfg did help. The entry "Model Matching (FSX)" has disappeared, thanks
