No server info in drop down menu Squawkbox

after downloading and entering all info required when i go to choose a server to log onto....there are no servers in the menu to choose...just blank. i have reloaded this program 2x already...Am I missing something.?

There was a major change recently. According to TECH blog some older versions of pilot clients are not supported anymore. Also several FSD servers are shut down

 

Which version of SB do you use? You may probably solve that problem by updating to the latest release

Do you want your Virtual Airline to become an official partner on VATSIM or to participate in the VAA Program?

Thank you. I downloaded the version available on squawkbox.ca . I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]umed it was correct. I do not know where the new SB is?? I worked on the original version which is this one as a paint contributed . I did a number of the liveries on this. So where do I get the new one?

One thing that I would recommend, is not start to fiddle around with SquawkBox now. As a part of modernizing the infrastructure VATSIM runs on, SquawkBox is one of the clients that will be unsupported (i.e. not approved to use on VATSIM) in the near future.

 

There are plenty of alternatives that will work for your sim.

If you are comfortable with the look and feel of Squawkbox and are using FSX (or P3D v3 or v4) then vPilot is a great fit otherwise consider Swift.
