The standalone client is only for Windows.

I'm afraid this is the temporary end for Xplane / MAC users on VATSIM

Users have had some success running the standalone using wine. You can also run the AFV client on a windows based computer and xPlane on your mac using the network is address.

The xSquawbox and Swift Development teams are well aware of this issue and are working very hard to get a AFV Native client released ASAP for our Mac users.

So does this mean, that once the network reopens, we could use the public alpha without standalone? ([Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming that it has not been released in that short time)

Have installed Swift, struggled a little bit with the settings, but now works fine on MAC and Xplane.
