Those of you that have never flown over the pacific, or have flown over with out Oakland Oceanic on line, should also go to zak.vatusa.org for details on how to properly submit position reports, etc.

Just one question about the SFO route: Where are you getting it? LOL.

I come up with BEBOP (on the GAPP3 for SFO) R64 BITTA.....and so on.

I don't see BRINY in any search through simroutes or routefinder or PACOPS.

Thanks.

From our end, if we have our normal wind configuration you should expect the GAPP3.BEBOP.R464.BITTA.MAGGI3 out of SFO departing RWY 28L or 28R with the GAPP3 Departure, BEBOP Transition, going through NORMM... BRINY is not used anymore...

Thanks Eric, that's what I thought and that's the plan I have. I found BRINY but couldn't find it charted anywhere except for on the enroute charts. I think it's been taken off the SID's.

I see the GAPP3 can also be used for East ops as well transitioning to OSI from BARTN.

Just one more suggestion:

Why not have ZLA involved also? They'll probably be on anyways.

You know it! ZSE should be in on this as well, and maybe CZVR, as they all have routes to Hawaii. Any chance of the Hit Squad covering PGUM? We don't have to fly west, ya know.

The ATM was invited to attend and decided that the traffic being split 3 ways would water down the departures for SEA and SFO and said they would rather not staff.

But I am sure some of the ZLA hack-squad will be on hand.

Honolulu Center diagram shown below. E and W CTRs boundries shown by Yellow Line.

R464 HNL_E_CTR, pilots further expect MAGGI BAMBO, HNL_E_APP and HNL_E_TWR for the for the 4R ILS.

Except Concordes, HNL_E_APP handoff to HNL_W_TWR for 8L ILS.

A331 HNL_W_CTR pilots further expect vectors to W/SW at MAGGI and then HNL_W_APP and HNL_W_TWR 8L ILS. Visuals 8R available upon request.

Guam is Oakland Oceanic, not VATPAC, Sorry... GUAM CERAP is just below Oakland West FSS airspace, no VATPAC there.

At least I don't think so...

Brad - As far as you asked, we are planning on staffing both Oaklands East and West Centers... So there will at least be Oceanic up, we may have enough people to get the Guam CERAP up...

The VATSIM Hit Squad is for areas taht haven't been developed in VATSIM yet... Guam has...

HAHA, yeah, none of that frufru stuff. Just straight drip (coffee maker style).

Now if you really want to get gross, I can go out and get some instant, like we used to drink in our canteens when we were in the service, but.....no need to go there...rofl!

In the Artillery, out in the boonies; receipe for coffee:

Big 25 gallon pot a boiling water

1 Can (Large) coffee grounds.

Stir in for a few minutes (like who has a few minutes to wait for coffee when it is freezing and snowing?)

Instant coffee m[Mod - Happy Thoughts] production style.

Enjoy your flight in to PHNL or pHOG guys...no matter what is brewing!
