I was wondering if there is a CVA in the region? I imagine that it would be a good idea for a regional Virtual Air Cargo to fly in the area. Help flights, med flights, oil flights and usualy cargo and such. Service some smaller airports.

Anyone know of one?

Hello Anthony,

there are more then 3 VA's actively based in the Middle East I can re[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ure you. Now the Middle East is a great place for cargo really! ex: Martinair Cargo, Cargolux and Emirates Sky Cargo have large bases in Dubai, Ryadh, Beirut and Bahrain.

I don't know if you ever heard about TMA? It was the biggest cargo operator in the World and was based in Beirut but for a couple of years has been selling a/c

I meant from the VA links here at VATSIM.

Got a place to go check out some of these if they are VAC's?

Anthony, thank you very much for the nice comment on MEA

To my knowlege; there is Cargolux VA: http://virtualcargolux.org

They, operate allot of flights in the Middle East with it's main hub in Luxembourg of course; their other major hubs in the Middle East are Beirut and Abu Dhabi.

MEA also has a cargo division but the system is really weird because the cargo is handled by Cargolux and MEA; it always differs so no real schedule. Once we get our hands on a basic schedule, at meavirtual we'll open a cargo division.

Alex.
