The complete message I get is "Execution of PAC script at \"http://wpad/wpad.dat\" failed: The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1003.)"

Can anyone direct me to a place that explains what that means?

Thanks

Hi Alain,

I'm not a Mac-user myself, so I can only provided limited help to you. I strongly suggest you to get in touch with the swift team on our Discord server, they are usually quick in helping, but please keep the holiday season in mind: https://dev.swift-project.org/w/contact/

That's caused by proxy auto-configuration failing (probably a bad script). You really shouldn't be seeing this on a home computer on a private network. (Unless you're using some "VPN" tool that uses a proxy-style capture).

Try changing your network settings to disable Proxies completely.
