A team of Controllers that would be able to connect to isolated FIRs or areas, with prior approval of the Division, to give life to least known places, promote online ATC, events and much more. • Scope: To provide ATC subject to member’s rating to places , where atc or pilot activity is low. • Introduction: In this email ring there Is people be able to create advertisement banner or slides with graphics. This will help us to make this public and start recruiting controllers from all over Asia . • Aim: Boost activity and introduce events or online days at specific areas within Asia. Example, every 4 months (a semester) the FIR(s) may change. • Polls: A poll might be created to let members decide the next place “The Specialists of ATC “ would visit. • Fun factor: Meeting new places, new airports, new procedures, new people. • Possibilities: Develop FIRs without a vACC. Make more areas known to members and much more. • Key factors to consider: A member of Division A is able to perform ATC at an FIR of Division B. Unlimited events. Actually, the only requirements that I have found is "S3 or above" and "VATSIM Asia Region" which could be interpreted that you need to be a member of the Region!? May has been our highest amount of hours ever conducted since operation in February 2020. We've also seen an increase of 283% of online activity across the approved regions compared to April 2020.
