I was wondering if anyone was having a problem accessing the VATSIM UK website? I have been trying all day but have had no luck. It worked OK yesterday and I have not changed any settings on my computer.

Alan,

You're not alone.

It's been down all day and is still down at the time of writing this reply.

Don't know what the problem is.

Dave.

I will call the server owner and let him know.

Edited. Spoke to him and it will be sorted as soon as.

Thanks for the reply. I had thought that I had changed something on the computer and now the website would not load.

Simple answer is the Server has a major fault, it is overheating with the CPU running at 83°C.

We are aware and are trying to recover the server as best we can.

The server is now up, for how long we're not sure.

Thanks goes to the efforts of Netconnex for continued hosting and support.

Is it just me or is the site down? I'm getting the following message, unintelligable to me, lol:

Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) in /home/sites/site33/dbcon.php on line 5
