We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of VATME ATC Training Director(VATME4). The ATC Training Director organizes and harmonizes our controller training for all vACC’s of VATME. Therefore, this position asks for both deep knowledge about ATC training in the Middle East division and the ability to communicate and manage all aspects of the training for our controllers.

 

Responsibilities of the VATME ATC Training Director (VATME4):

- Overseeing & developing of training resources within the division.

- Ensuring training is expeditious and of a good standard throughout the division.

- Ensuring compliance with VATSIM policies, including but not limited to VATME Division Policy, Executive Committee Policies, VATSIM Code of Conduct and the VATSIM Code of Regulations.

- Inducting new members into the ATC Training process in the Division and ensuring they feel welcome and well informed about our systems.

- Able to handle training related duties in addition to Controller Practical Examinations if necessary.

- Producing regular reports on the status of training within the division.

- Maintaining an active online presence within the division.

- Other duties [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned by the Divisional Director.

 

Requirements:

- Extensive knowledge of ATC Training in VATME.

- Permanent ATC Rating: C1 or C3 with at least 100 ATC hours.

- Have been actively involved in ATC Training in his/her local vACC for at least one year and completing at least 15 mentoring sessions.

- Membership of VATME or willing to become a member of VATME.

- Familiarity with Middle East operations.

- Demonstrated past experience in ATC Training related roles or other managerial positions.

- Willing to invest a time and energy on a weekly basis for the benefit of our community.

- Able to communicate (write/talk) in English.

- Able to develop and communicate ATC training topics.
