Who says you can't travel the world in style these days? Get a team of adventurers together for the expedition of a lifetime! The most esteemed society of exploring pilots has invited you to a very exclusive race around the world where only the most intrepid and skilled pilots will survive to see the finish line! See you in London City on the 13th!!

 

Join Vatsim pilots for a race around the world consisting of 80 Legs to be flown in 80 days,

 

From the creators of Antarctic Resupply comes your chance to fly around the world with a big group of pilots.

 

Create your own path around the globe alone or with your team.

 

80 Days 80 Legs! Many surprises during the event!

 

Rules

 

All flights must be done on Vatsim and have a valid Vatstats Link.

No time acceleration is allowed

You must depart London City after 18Z on the 13th of April

You must fly Eastbound Around the Globe

You must land at least once in all continents (Except Antarctica)

You must land at least once in North and South America

Your route is completely up to you but you need to cross 2 checkpoints at a specific date AYMH and MPTO

You must reach checkpoint 1 AYMH in 27 days from start (by the 10th of May)

Do not depart AYMH before day 28

You must then reach checkpoint 2 MPTO in 27 days from AYMH (by the 6th of June)

Do not depart MPTO before day 55

You must then reach London EXACTLY on the 2nd of July

Reaching London must be your 80th Leg

 

Allowed planes ( Pistons- Turboprops and Very Light Jets only.)

One plane for the whole expedition. Once you leave London no changing planes

Teams are Encouraged

Fly as Much as you want per day the only time constraints are reaching AYMH MPTO before the posted date and EGLC on the 02/07/20

After one week of flying an 33 active teams here are the standings!

Late entry is allowed. Come and fly with us.
