POSTED ON BEHALF OF ALEXANDER NAKOPOULOS

CAVOK is recorded as CAVOK not as CAV-OKEY even if i put it in the contractions panel. moreover 0 doesnt sound even if i put in the contractions. i have to write ZERO instead in order to record it right. any ideas?

This is not a high priority item for me right now; I will look into it when I have time.

Hi Alexander, I've finally found some time to work on vATIS. If you want vATIS to parse and read numbers, you need to prefix the digit with an asterisk. Check out the Text Parsing Rules in the vATIS documentation for more info.

What is the trick to get “IN” spoken properly?  I’ve tried several things, still sounds funny.
