I am having a problem with hearing ATC or speaking with ATC in VPilot. I am unable to communicate at all. It has been about 48 hours since my account has been activated. I am able to connect to vpilot fine but unable to transmit or hear any ATC. can someone please help me.

When I log in i am receiving this error:

Error connecting to voice server: Connect failed (forbidden - )

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, take a look at #4 (check your password capitalization -- most commonly goofed ones are i vs. I and l vs. L):

So I would be able to login but then voice wouldn’t work if my password is typed wrong. Interesting maybe I made a typo.

Only if the cause is capitalization. AKA you got the characters right, but not their casing.

One of several characters I keep asking the tech team to remove from the list of characters that get issued in passwords, just for this reason... 🙂 🙂 🙂

In your case, both instances of that character (6th and 11th position) are capital I (phonetic=India, sounds like "eye")....

Pro tip:  when in doubt look at your password in Times New Roman font.  I's and L's become much clearer, though 0 vs. O is still tough. 🙂

Or paste it into a text editor and search for the letter or number.

OK, so now I am having the same issue. I guess years ago I had an account so Vatsim disabled the account that I got working and made me use my old one. And when I login to my old account I am having the same Exact talking Issue. I cannot talk or hear anyone. The password has "O" and "i" in it. I typed it so many different ways. What can be wrong here.

What could be wrong was you didn't type in (or copy/paste) in the password correctly 🙂

I see you've changed your password.  That should resolve the problem.
