Also, don't forget to check out another unique groupflight event of ours, with ATC coverage, on this Friday (Oct 9)!

Depending on your routing, you may want to give VATSIM UK a nudge as there's no mention of it on their forum.   There is a separate Manchester event on that day but at the moment, there's no rostering for SCO_CTR so you may not have this as no-one knows anything about it publicly...

Hi Trevor,

Yes, we will be contacting VATUK separately via email. Thank you for letting know about the staffing!

Hi, please update the banner if you can, due to an error with the date. Sorry.

Hi - just so you are aware you will be out of VHF coverage in the orange/red waypoints flying through BIRD (you might be in range at 72N50W).

POL UN601 TLA UN601 STN N610 RATSU 6600N/02000W 6900N/03000W 7100N/04000W 7200N/05000W INGUM 7000N/08000W 6800N/09000W 6400N/10000W 6000N/10700W YMM J527 YNY J503 YDC JAKSN GLASR1.

The transceivers in Iceland have been set as per RL. Below is the real life coverage, you might get lucky between 30W and 46W since VATSIM coverage does not take the terrain into account, but it's still at the edge of the circles.

Might want to plan on HF and CPDLC 🙂

Also, the oceanic entry point is BARKU prior to RATSU (irl you´ll always get a route amendment if that way point is missing).

Thank you for the information! Much appreciated. And we do have BARKU on our flight plan.
