VRC is a very old program that I wrote in a language that I no longer use or enjoy. So it is unlikely that VRC will be updated in the future. I may someday rewrite VRC using my preferred language, and at that time I may build AFV into it, but I can't say for sure when this will happen, if ever. I believe I saw from another thread that AFV doesn't work well with your screen reader, so I hope the AFV team can help you out with that.
