I can assure you that some character you're writing either in your CID or in your password is wrong. Audio for VATSIM uses exactly the same authentication service that you have used to log into this forum, yet it is returning you a forbidden error in vPilot ("[00:20:00] Error connecting to voice server: Connect failed (Forbidden - )", basically telling us that the credentials you've entered in your pilot client are different to the ones you've used to log in here and hence, incorrect.

Should you wish to get a new password emailed to you, you can access https://my.vatsim.net/reset and follow the steps required. Note that after performing this process it might take a few hours before you can connect to the network with the credentials you receive.

EDIT: You need to complete the initial member orientation course and exam before you can connect to the VATSIM Network. To do so, visit https://my.vatsim.net/exams

Just like it says in the popup box that appeared when you failed the exam, it will be available again after an hour.  Go study the material in the meantime....

Passed the exam, waited a day, still getting the Connect Failed message, I'll try waiting another few hours to see if it's a synchronising issue.
