Hi Francisco, come on over to the swift team, we will bring you back online with VATSIM.

New homepage (user guide not finished yet): https://docs.swift-project.org/doku.php?id=start
In case that you use Discord, we provide rather timely support there: https://docs.swift-project.org/doku.php?id=contact

My problem is that I use windows xp 64 bits and the swift for Fs9 is only 32 bits What software would be appropriate for windos xp 64 bits and fs9?

Squawkbox is no longer supported on the network, as of the end of March. Here is the list of approved pilot client software:

There is no way to continue using the SB since I would not have any other software compatible with my PC.

swift (regardless which version) will only work on Windows 7 and newer, due to runtime libraries etc..

In case that you have a secondary computer in your network and if it runs Win7 or newer, you could use that machine to run swift and connect to FS9 via your local network.

There should be no reason why you can’t run a 32-bit program on a 64-bit machine...

Regardless, the legacy pilot clients were retired to allow the network to update to newer and better technologies. You’re using a nearly 20-year old operating system, which has not been supported for quite some time, so expecting us to provide support and compatibility for your setup is not practical. Ultimately, if you want to continue to use VATSIM you’ll either need to figure out how to configure swift (that is, if it supports Windows XP...they have a very helpful Discord server, so I’m sure someone can assist you), or better yet, upgrade your PC. 🙂

The issue also seems to be that AFV-part of the code does not run on OS older than Win7, but maybe I remembered this incorrectly. Fact is that swiftGUI itself needs Windows 7 or newer, but we have members who were able to run swift on a more recent machine and the connect it to their legacy computer through LAN.
