I'm using FSX with Windows 10  just installed Swift but getting a fairly consistent crash of Swift. Event viewer shows Qt5Core.dll as the faulting module everytime. Installed everything as per the tutorials.

Hi Mike

Which version of swift?

Have a look in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\org.swift-project

Somewhere in there should be a folder named "crashpad" and buried in there should be a folder named "reports", like this:

crashpad.png

When swift crashes it should save a file in that "reports" folder, that would help us diagnose the problem.

Hey Mat,

Thanks for the reply.

I installed  BETA  version 0.9.5.151

I opened the dmp files but I don't understand the information.

Should I upload them here?

It is not allowing me to upload it here due to the extension.

I also have a question about some AI models that are not showing a distributor.  How do I manually add a distributor so that Swift can use them?

Thanks,

Mike

You can email it to mat at swift-project.org

I don't know about the AI models, hopefully someone else can help, it's not my area.

There is a file in your swift installation called qtaudio_wasapi.dll

For example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\swift-0.9.5-32bit\bin\audio\qtaudio_wasapi.dll

Try deleting this file. It is not needed and has been known to cause crashes.
