Good day,

I am consistently having CTDs on final approach (2nm) to EGKK when online. I did a test after one CTD incident while offline and did not encounter CTD.

CTD conditions:

1. All aircraft

2. Vpilot with ATC and without.

3. Honeycomb throttle and yoke

Any help is highly apprciated.

Faisal

Do you have any third party model sets or livery sets installed?

Yes.

1. FlybyWire A32NX - Development mode with several liveries.

2. Aerosoft CRJ with several liveries.

Do you use this excellent Gatwick scenery ?  https://flightsim.to/file/5784/gatwick-egkk-ultra-star-edition-phase-1-0

Yes but I switched back to the older version as the publisher advised if you experience CTD with the latest version.

I removed all addon liveries and still had CTD on final to EGKK with Vpilot running. If Vpilot is not running I don’t experience CTD on final.

Mostly yes, but had a few CTDs on final in LSGG and LFMN.

Does it only happen when there are other aircraft in range?

Yes. Only VATSIM traffic as I keep MSFS traffic off.

Sounds like maybe when vPilot injects a model into the sim, it causes the crash. Could be a faulty or corrupt model or texture. Maybe you could try to determine which models are causing the crash and uninstall them.

Thank you Ross. From where does Vpilot gets its models?

vPilot doesn't have any models. It just makes use of the models you have installed. In the case of MSFS, it automatically uses the default models that come with the sim, or any models that you tell it to use by loading custom model matching rules files.

Thank you Ross for taking the time to offer help.

I will do more testing and revert back if the issue is solved.
