No way to regroup ATC planning somewhere?

Hello!

I was just wondering... since I am flying a lot in VATSIM, I would enjoy to find a calendar where ATC can book their position into it and pilot can see it. I know it is one of the good feature in IVAO, it would be great to have it! It is really allowing you to plan and prepare flights, especially when you are like me, looking for realism.

I remember VATSIM had something like this in the past, but I couldn't find it again. One of the solution I found was to check division website for booking, but it takes me twice time to just check if there is any legs I can do who would be ATC covered.

What do you think about this?

Alex

Hi Alexandre,

we do have this. It is called "VATBOOK". When using freeware programs like vroute, Qutescoop or ServInfo, you can search and display all ATC-bookings that exist. Alternatively, you can also access the raw data of VATBOOK and try to read the bookings from there.

PS: to make ServInfo work again, you'll have to also install a tiny tool to convert the data format: https://github.com/dneuge/legacy-status-proxy-vatsim/blob/master/docs/manual.md#servinfo

Hello Andreas!

This is very cool for you to take the time to show me those! What would you suggest? I will have a look to all of them.

Cheers,

Alex
