Hello everyone

Since idstatuscheck page is suspended it seems like it was the last way to resolve real pilot/atc name from its vatsim ID.

Is there any other way to request member's real name from CID except using SSO?

Thanks in advance

Best regards,

I don't think so, and I think that is by design.

It’s intentionally that way to protect user privacy

If the CID in question is a part of your VACC or division, with an API key you can find their full name in the VATSIM API: https://api.vatsim.net/api/#operation/subdivisions_members_read

Otherwise, like said above. Intentional and by design 🙂 If the user haven't explicitly agreed on having their full name exposed/saved, then perhaps it's best not the best idea to parse it either.

Ilya, please open a Support Ticket (https://support.vatsim.net) with the Tech department and we can take this off forum as there are also rate limiting concerns that we have.
