Output device for incoming message / SELCAL (network client)

Hi,

still another question:

I run vPilot in a networked configuration. On the host (FS-PC) the option "Play incoming messages notification sounds on host" is checked, the message sounds and SELCAL are played on the standard sound output device of the FS-PC. What happens, if I uncheck that option? Is the sound played on the client PC in this case? Is there an option (or would it be possible to implement that as an option) to change the sound output device in this case?

THX in advance for help!

If you uncheck that option, sounds are simply not played on the host. They are only played on the remote.

There is no way to specify which sound device plays notification sounds. They simply play on whatever device you have set as your output device in Windows.
