MSFS with vPilot Networked

I had this working fine with FSX, but after upgrading to MSFS2020, I cannot get a connection through the Client to Host.  I can connect with single computer setup.

I have the latest version of vPilot installed, running the Host Mode on my Flight Simulator computer and the Client mode running on my second computer.

Also using the current version of FSUIPC7 with WideFS (Wide Client), which works with other applications.

Should this work?  Are there instructions anywhere?

Thanks,

Steve Canham

There is nothing different about connecting vPilot in a split remote/host setup going from FSX to MSFS, so the way you had it before should be the same. The instructions are on the vPilot web site.

What happens when you try to connect?

Thanks for your help!

I have read through all the documentation.

Host is:

Connected to Simulator YES

Connected to remote NO

Connected to Network NO

Host message window says:

Listening for remote connections on IP (s) 10.0.0.161

Remote keeps trying to connect to Host but message says:

Host Connection Failed

If I try to connect to the VATSIM network, I get

Not connected to host

I have the correct IP address and port for the Host computer entered in Client settings

Did you open the port in the firewall on the host?
