The tracker for my VA is deemed an "Illegal operation" as soon as I start it and therefore won't let me use it. Can someone tell me how to fix it?

You should probably ask the developers of your VA tracker.

What does this have to do with vPilot?

The VA tracker which is emitting simconnect requests is immediately marked as an illegal operation from vPilot. From what I understand vPilot blocks the simconnect request.

vPilot has no way to block simconnect requests. And "illegal operation" is not a vPilot error message. That sounds like a simconnect message.
