I'm having the same issue - started as soon as I upgraded to v3.03. Have tried re-entering credentials and different servers.

The authentication in version 3.x of vPilot now happens through the VATSIM web server. Are you able to visit this site in a browser? https://auth.vatsim.net/login

Hello

It is possible to explain exactly how the vpilot login is done now ?

Because I have the same message

However I must say, that in normal mode, I mean vpilot on the simulator machine, it works

With host mode, doesn't work

Any help ?

Thanks in advance

That wasn't a fix, that was just a test to see if your PC is able to access the VATSIM auth server. That's the same server that vPilot now uses to authenticate you.

Try this version:

Ross, :)

I've just download 3.0.5 version

After install and run, asked me for a new version 3.0.6

Installed again, and make a try .

It works.

Thank you very much for the quick solve

Kind regards

Ross, I was getting "Authentication Failed" errors after upgrading v3.03 using "remote with voice mode".  Happy to say v3.06 posted above fixed it.  Thank you.

I am on version 3.0.6 and receive the same error message. vPilot is running with administrative rights and I am able to access and login on https://auth.vatsim.net/login.

Another user was able to clear the error by rebooting their router. Is that something you can try?

Was about to reboot my router today and fired up MSFS and vPilot and thought I'll try it one more time and it worked. I have to say that I tried to connect to the network right after the installtion of vPilot. So, the only thing I did was to restart the computer. Maybe that could be one of the solutions if anyone else is having the issue.
