Cristian Torz Posted February 15, 2022 at 05:16 AM Posted February 15, 2022 at 05:16 AM (edited) Since the new beta update for xPilot, I've experienced numerous random voice timeout errors when online, where for a few seconds the voice server times out then re-connects again, but distorts the audio when I broadcast. i can confirm that if i close down xPilot after the error message and re-open it, doing a radio check gives me normal 5/5 ... but shortly thereafter, the voice timeout error message re-appears and then my transmission on radio significantly is reduced where it is cutting in and out. At first, I thought it may have been a server related to a specific region, but I tried changing other regions and still the issue was persistent, if not more prevalent. I've attached a screenshot of my issue, and as you can see, it happens quite frequently. I'm not sure where the log files are, but I'm happy to replicate the issue re-send all the log files necessary. Please let me know the work-around, or what files I need to submit for further analysis to address this issue. At time of writing this ticket, I'm using xPilot version 2.0.0-beta.22. I've also experienced this error message on previous beta versions, but more previlent on this version. The normal stable (non-beta) version of xPilot (1.3.38) had no issues from my recollection with regards to this error message. Please advise and let me know what I need to do to get this resolved or to provide the support team with further details to get this resolved. I tried the normal version prior to beta, but got connection errors. The work-around for me was to use swift instead. Albert Welledits Posted April 8, 2022 at 11:41 PM Posted April 8, 2022 at 11:41 PM xPilot is a disaster: xPlane 11.50 on Master and visual, xPilot on Master with Version 22: full of bugs, does not connect to XP, does not find cls library, many times uninstalled and reinstalled. Upon start always asks for upgrades, not knowing that newer version have even more bugs. Any attempt to get xPilot as visual on the other machine fails.
