Hi,

I'm trying to get the hang of vatsim and so far I've just been eavesdropping in observer mode but when I try to file a flightplan through simbrief vpilot tells me it cannot be found and I can't really figure out why.

simbrief url

I did change the call sign to the call sign I use to connect to the network as well as putting observer in the RMK field but other than that it was submitted unaltered.

Different plans same result.

When you hit the File Flight Plan button, did you get a message at the top right of the screen saying it had submitted successfully?

You are also logging in with exactly the same callsign as you submitted under?

I get the green popup top right saying that it's filed when i hit 'file plan' and double checked the call-sign as well.

Is there anywhere where I can see what flightplans are actually on vatsim ?

Vatspy shows the filed flightplans in the airport details

Ok I found the issue. It just always fails in observer mode.

Switched out of observer and the plan loaded just fine.

The 'when learning connect as observer but do submit a flightplan' threw me off here. I'll just leave that alone for now.
