But there never seems to be any controllers in the area. Are there more on a different server? What you see on US East is what I see on Amsterdam or Singapore. As for availability of controllers... well, depends on people having free time and willingness to take up a controlling position. Try checking the VATUSA website or discord server to see if there are events planned for the area. I fly frequently through Florida and I've gotten ATC a few times.
