List items cannot be deselected for display

During some testings with r34, I discovered that list items that have neither a left button function nor a right button function assigned cannot be deselected for display with the "F" function from the list. Is this intended (= a feature) or maybe a bug?

Same goes specifically for the callsign item, which seems to be hardcoded from being deselectable. This seems reasonable. But would also ask if to confirm if this is intended behaviour.
