To answer your question you'll need the following : 1)Sectorfiles for the area you want to observe. Available on the websites of the repective ARTCC/FIR. 2)Voice server and room information for the positions you want to monitor. Also available from the webites of the ARTCC/FIR 3)VRC docomeentation, available HERE to help you set up VRC to observe and monitor ATC. There is also another alterative available for you. If you go to http://www.liveatc.net you will find live feeds from real ATC positions around the world. This is also an excellent way of learning the ropes and phrasology when you get online.
