I have downloaded SquaukBox and installed. Am using fs 2002 or 2004 . I am lost in cyberspace. Where are the how to articles. I am looking forward to the convention on the gold coast. I have purchased hydraulics and intent to built a pretty good motion platform towards the end of the year

Mike,

Welcome to VATSIM.

www.vatsim.net/prc is a great starting point. In addition you might want to join the local Australian forum at www.vatpac.org where you will find like minded folks - one of whom already has a full sized 747 on a motion platform.

I'd hate to see the price tag on a motion platform that could support a full-sized 747. I'd have to justify the cost by converting the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]enger cabin into my house.

HI Mike,

The B747 sim referred to above is a 1:1 scale cockpit mounted on a motion platform.

http://www.hyway.com.au/747/ for more detail and also http://www.worldflight.com.au to see how this cockpit is used to raise money for a worthy cause.
