Kevin Henderson 976708 Posted March 7, 2008 at 02:43 AM Posted March 7, 2008 at 02:43 AM Working in Anchorage I can work Center with a 600 mile visibility range and can't see controllers who are on underneath me. I can put my visibility point directly between PANC and PAFA which is only 220 miles apart and cannot see guys working on both towers. If I move my visibility point directly over either location I can see them but shortly after moving away they vanish again. Perhaps in a similar problem, on occasion I will see an aircraft on the scope and send a contact me and they text back that I still do not show up on their list of controllers. I've had it happen with several airplanes so I know it wasn't an isolated problem. Anyone have any ideas?
