Dear Amir,

The topic has been covered extensively on these forums already.

If you do a search for.. dual quad fsx and you'll find all the detailed info you need.

In brief, your question can't be answered in brief. There are several aspects to take into consideration, mainly to do with all other specs of your PC(s).

I suggest some reading, then get back with more specific questions if you need.

Happy flying!

Antonio

I have Q6600 and it's very worth for FSX. There are 2 games that uses quad core fully as far as I know and one of them is FSX the other one is supreme commander. FSX uses all 4 cores up to 100% during most of my flights. Expect a lot of FPS increase especially VC.

Thanks,

Matt.

ram : 2gb 800 mhz

video card: ATi redon 2900 xt 512 mb

motherboard : asus p5k (p35 chipset)

windows xp sp3

so you think that with the Q6600 i will get better performance???

should i need to upgrade to windows vista???

the intel e series are the beasts of overclocking, if you add another 0.5Ghz to that e6700 it wont be worth a quad core
