But I have to ask why would you need a big field? Here in Brazil we have many trasitions using in the same SID and some with long names like CONGONHAS 3 Trans NIBGA. So I need to combine names and 5 or 7 chars can not be enough. I simply made them read EXOPI2A.SELKA (see http://aip.net.nz/pdf/NZAA_33.5_33.6.pdf) and it works well in the SEL and SIL lists. In this way it is not possible to enter the sid name to the FP, therefore you will not be able to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign them manually. I suggest using the _ instead. Gergely.
