David Saunders 818672 Posted June 20, 2008 at 05:02 PM Posted June 20, 2008 at 05:02 PM A quick question, if i have 2 screens on with euroscope on 2 screens, what i type in 1 screen will go out to the aircraft concerned, what ever i type on screen 2 will go out, when i open ES on a 3rd screen, i can type messages to atc via private chat, but nothing to any pilot or anything on my freq? the settup is the same as screen 2 so no idea why the text doesnt go out update:- Forgot to say i have "Enabled advanced proxy communications" Screen 1 Can type private messages Can use alias file Can adjust aircraft information Screen 2 Can type private messages Can use alias file Can adjust aircraft information Screen 3 Can type private messages Can adjust aircraft information But Cannot use alias file and cannot text to anybody on the freq non-discript self importance signature Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gergely Csernak Posted June 23, 2008 at 01:08 PM Posted June 23, 2008 at 01:08 PM David, To send and receive frequency messages you should open the voice setup (you can do it in the proxy even the bitmap indicates that voice is disabled). Simply select TXT SEND/RCV using the check box, and it will work. If you select the primary frequency after the proxy connection then it should be automatic. Do you use the same profile for all three instances? If not do you load the same alias file for the all three? Gergely. David Saunders 818672 Posted June 24, 2008 at 04:35 PM Author Posted June 24, 2008 at 04:35 PM the 3rd screen has the same profile as the other 2 screens, the same alias file as the other 2 screens, i can be selected to that screen and use the keyboard as normal , using the ptt button etc, i can change the tag of any aircraft i select on that screen, but what i cant do is use my alias file at all or type anything text wise , i can type the command into the text box and it will appear as normal but when i press enter nothing appears on the freq, i can send ATC messages, i can even private chat, Screenshot 1, this is with my alias command, all looks well this is after i press enter, nothing has appeared on my freq non-discript self importance signature Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
