Currently I have 894mb of RAM. I ordered 2GB for my E-Machine. At JFK with AI traffic Active sky etc I get 11fps. If I take all that stuff away I can get anywhere from 25-40 fps. So my question is with 2gb of RAM will I see that 11fps go up with all my AI traffic and addons?

(I need to have AI traffic either way) Thanks

you might see it go up a bit, but don't expect miracles.

Performance updates are all about matching your CPU , RAM and GPU ( Video card ) . If one of these doesnt match ( interms of data handling capability ) then you will create a bottleneck , which will slow the transfer of data. For example , a 1.5GB CPU with 2GB of RAM and a 512MB GPU will be bottlenecked at the CPU . Change the CPU to a 3GB unit , and it will "fly" !
