thank's. if anyone is able to help directly via messenger (live [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist) it would be greatly appreciated. don't jack my stuff, just check to see if everything is ok. i guess i need a mentor. i want to migrate from pilot to atc, so i need some one to "hold my hand" to get started. i'm CST, so i'll be up early in the am if anyone can or will help, just post a response, if you're willing.

thank's

Hi Michael

You really hitthe nail on the head there when you said you need a mentor. That's for sure. I'm pretty sure its the same in the US as here in the UK, that when you do p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] your exam you will then have to join a division and at that point a mentor will be appointed to you.

The one thing about controlling is that you cannot do it on your own. You have to have a mentor someone who can guide you throughthe complexities of controlling and that includes how to use Euroscope.

Good luck and welcome to the dark side.

Michael,

As far as I know the only USA Sector Files setup for EuroScope is ZLC (Salt Lake Center). You can get the first public version at http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?p=186567#186567. A newer version ES244 is available at http://www.box.net/shared/vq0qu0g994

Hope this helps you on your adventure into the ARTCC world.

Salt Lake Center could use a new controller.
