John White 828331 Posted September 12, 2008 at 12:48 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 12:48 AM I'm running FSX under Vista and of course looking for better frame rates....which I find can be achieved by going to full screen mode on my main monitor. Now this is giving me probs as I use my second moniter to hold all those goodies like FltSim Commander, Radar, chat etc. The second screen just goes blank when the main monitor is in full screen mode. Anyone any ideas how to retain my second screen goodies in this condition? I run the FS in windowed mode on one monitor and all the other apps, browsers, FMC, weather, SB4 etc etc on the other monitor. I have not been able to run FS on full screen without affecting the other monitor so windowed mode is my option. Bill Casey Posted September 12, 2008 at 06:29 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 06:29 AM Thomas is right but when doing this obviously you'll want your main window as big as possible, just make absolutely sure that it doesn't cross or even touch the edge of the screen or your FPS will choke completely.
